First high-level meeting of international organizations takes place in the framework of the 4th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue

First high-level meeting of international organizations took place, May 5, in the framework of the 4th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue held in Baku.

First Vice-president of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva addressed the meeting.

The first session of the first high-level meeting of international organizations was dedicated to the topic “Joint responsibility for human safety: building sustainable and inclusive society for long-term development”.

At the session, Supreme Representative of the UN’s Alliance of Civilizations Nasir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser, UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova, Secretary General of the UN World Tourism Organization Taleb Rifai, Secretary General of the Islamic Cooperation Organization Yousef Al-Othaimeen, ISESCO Director General Abdulaziz bin Othman al-Twaijri, Deputy Secretary General of NATO for Public Diplomacy Tacan Ildem, and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization’s (FAO) head of cabinet Mario Lubetkin, Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States Ramil Hasanov, Director General of the UN Nairobi Office Sahle Zewde and Resident Representative of the UN Development Programme Ghulam Ishagzai addressed the session.

Then, interesting speeches were heard at the second session held on the topic “Building mutual cooperation for intercultural dialogue towards the 2030 agenda between economic, financial institutions and development agencies.”
