Visit to Turkey

On May 22, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were on a business visit to the Turkish Republic to take part in the World Humanitarian Summit.

The Head of the Azerbaijani state and his spouse were greeted at the Ataturk International Airport by high-ranking state and government officials of Turkey.

The World Humanitarian Summit

On May 23, the World Humanitarian Summit started in Istanbul.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the Summit.

The Head of the Azerbaijani State addressed the plenary session of the Summit.

A dinner in honour of the distinguished guests

On May 23, a dinner was given at Dolmabahçe Palace if Istanbul, on behalf of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in honour of the distinguished guests participating in the World Humanitarian Summit.
