First Vice-president Mehriban Aliyeva gives instruction to “Azerenerji” OJSC with regard to providing employees dismissed due to staff reduction with jobs

First Vice-president of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva gave instruction to “Azerenerji” OJSC with regard to providing employees of “Militarized Security Force” LTD dismissed due to staff reduction with relevant jobs.

On December 13, 2018, a group of people appealed to Mehriban Aliyeva in connection with their dismissal from the jobs they had been holding at “Militarized Security Force” LTD. As a result of examining the appeal, it became known that as preventive actions aiming to prevent acts of provocation and terrorist nature at energy sector’s strategic objects of state importance due to the accident occurred at Azerbaijan Thermoelectric Power Station in Mingachevir on July 3, 2018, a decision was taken on providing protection of these objects by the Security Police of the Interior Ministry. As Azerenerji” OJSC has entrusted the Interior Ministry with protection of the required section of “Azerbaijan TPS” LTD, and large portion of the Mingachevir and Varvara Hydroelectric Power stations’ protection has been provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and taking into consideration that smart surveillance cameras have been installed at “Azerbaijan” TPS and a number of power stations, as well as fencing works are underway, a decision was taken to reduce part of the security staff.

Taking into consideration the abovementioned, Mehriban Aliyeva gave instruction on taking effective actions to solve the issue, by restoring these employees’ labour rights, and providing them with relevant jobs.
